Although English Rose provides a higher level of care, expertise and service compared to other homecare
companies, our hourly is cost is competitive with local providers. For all aspects of 1-on-1 personal care, we
charge $50 an hour, with a 4-hour minimum for each visit. We also offer a broad range of in-home specialty
services, such as skilled nursing, dementia navigation, physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), family
education, home safety assessments, and long-distance travel accompaniment.

English Rose provides a level of personalized, high-quality care that exceeds the scope what Medicare covers. Medicare’s reimbursement structure actually limits the type and duration of services that can be provided in a client’s home, impeding our ability to offer truly customized and comprehensive care. By operating independently of Medicare, English Rose has the flexibility to tailor services to the unique needs and preference of each client, ensuring an exceptional caregiving experience without compromise.
Long Term Care policies often cover in-home care, and many English Rose client’s use LTC insurance payment to pay for our in-home services.
The care, scheduling, resolution of issues, and overall needs of our English Rose Home Care clients will be overseen by your dedicated English Rose Care Manager, which is a level of customer service and supervisory oversight not typical with many homecare agencies. We select each member of a client’s care team based on their ability to best meet the client’s specific care needs and provide companionship and support based on personality & interests, with consistency being of paramount importance. We have 24/7 on-call nurse available to clients and caregivers. Additionally, we have a range of professionals and service partners within our network of trusted providers who join the team depending on the specic needs and preferences of clients.
Our caregivers receive extensive training so that they are prepared to appropriately respond to a variety of emergencies. In addition, our caregivers and client’s have 24/7 access to our on-call nursing team. Our professionals also proactively work with clients and their families to create the safest care protocols and environment in the home to minimize emergencies.

At English Rose, we prioritize continuity by assigning a dedicated care team to each client, overseen by the client’s Care Manager, carefully matching caregivers with clients based on skills, experience, and compatibility.

This approach ensures that caregivers become familiar with the client’s specific needs, preferences, and routines, fostering trust and a deeper personal connection. We utilize detailed car plans and effective communication tools to keep our care teams aligned and connected with one another. In instances where a caregiver is unavailable for one of their shifts, we ensure that substitutes are fully briefed and capable of providing seamless, high-quality care. Whether you need to add more hours for additional support or reduce hours as circumstances shift, your Care Manager will work with you to adjust the care plan accordingly. Our goal is to provide client-centered personalized care that fits seamlessly into your life, ensuring you always have the support you need when you need it, from a few short shifts each week to 24/7 care.
English Rose Home Care clients benefit from a care assessment conducted by an English Rose nurse every 90 days, or more frequently if there are indicators of need. In addition to scheduled evaluations, your Care manager will actively monitor changes in condition through ongoing communication with caregivers and family members. If care needs change, we consult with the client, their family , and any involved healthcare providers to determine the best path forward. We then update the care plan and ensure that the necessary resources, training and support are in place to deliver the appropriately enhanced level of care. Our flexible and proactive approach ensures that every client receives the right care at the right time.
English Rose has been caring for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Over the course of the last 25+ years, we have earned an international reputation for innovation and excellence in our approach to dementia care. Many of our home care clients experience some degree of normal cognitive decline consistent with aging. Some of our home care clients are living with dementia diagnosis yet are able to live in the comfort of their own home thanks to the care being provided by English Rose.
Our care options range from companion care to end-of-life support and everything in between. Caregivers and clients are matched based on needs and compatibility, as well as expertise that relates to a client’s future health journey. English Rose only employs caregivers who meet our highest professional standards. Additionally, we provide unparalleled training to address a broad range of conditions, needs and possible emergencies. Our team of licensed nurses are available to provide specialized training on an as-needed basis and are very experienced when it comes to end-of-life care, including palliative care and the management of hospice services.

English Rose caregivers, nurses, and care managers are all English Rose employees. Unlike other home care agencies, we never outsource front-line care to independent contractors. This ensures English Rose clients always benefit from our high standards of quality care and customer service.

As a service to our clients, however, we are happy to introduce them to providers we know provide superior care in their respective areas of expertise and, when appropriate, coordinate and oversee the delivery of these services. Through this network of trusted care partners, we offer a wide range of in-home services to enhance the care, convenience, independence, and life-style of our clients. Examples of services provided by English Rose care partners include at-home safety assessments, home improvement services, salon services, massage, acupuncture, primary physicians, dentistry, physical and occupational therapy, and travel companionship.

In addition to caring for clients in the comfort of their own homes, English Rose also operates residential
Assisted Living homes (“English Rose Suites”) nestled into picturesque Twin Cities neighborhoods. These are
single-family homes licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health where no more than six residents live
together while benefitting from 24/7 care by a dedicated team of English Rose caregivers and nurses. Home
care clients receive priority placement on the English Rose Suites waiting list.
